About Our Program
The JIFSAN Food Safety Risk Analysis Professional Development Training Program was created in 1997 to meet the demand of regulatory and scientific communities within the different federal food safety agencies in United States in the area of food safety and risk analysis.
As the language, tools, and techniques of risk analysis advance and become more widely adopted, professionals across a broad spectrum of fields seek to develop this proficiency, and therefore since its development, JIFSAN Risk Analysis courses have trained over 1,000 professionals across the globe.
The JIFSAN Food Safety Risk Analysis Training Program intends to meet the needs of federal agencies, ministries, state and provincial governments, academics, industry, trade and consumer groups, and economic, legislative and legal professionals.
JIFSAN offers face-to-face, online and customized training courses that meet your professional needs. A participant can take one or more courses depending on his/her professional goals and continuing educational units (CEUs) from the University of Maryland are available upon request.
