Successful Course Completion Requirements
Face-to-face Courses
Participants must:
- Complete and submit pre-and post course tests to the instructor
- Attend each day of the course, recording attendance on the sign-in sheet provided by the instructor
- Participate in group and individual activities throughout the course
- Complete a course evaluation
Online Courses
Participants must:
- Complete and submit on-line pre-and post course tests
- Complete all on-line self assessments
- View on-line course material
- For each course module, complete any individual assignments and participate actively in group assignments
- Successfully complete a turn as team leader, facilitating the timely completion of a team assignment for the course
- Complete a course evaluation
Special Certificates
Overview of Risk Analysis online is not part of the online Core program because the Food Safety Risk Management course incorporates the Overview modules. This does not occur in the face-to-face format.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from the University of Maryland are available for all courses upon request.
