ILSI North America Metal Dietary Exposure Screening Tool Webinar

Overview

A webinar, will be held on Tuesday 12 January 2016, to provide training and demonstrate the utility of the Metal Dietary Exposure Screening Tool (MDEST) developed by the ILSI North America Technical Committee on Food and Chemical Safety. ILSI North America developed this innovative tool to enable scientists to evaluate potential public health risk when confronted with the detection of select heavy metals in foods and food ingredients. The Joint Institute for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (JIFSAN) at the University of Maryland will hold the webinar on Tuesday 12 January 2016, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM EDT. Speakers: Craig Llewellyn and Leila Barraj The webinar is free, but registration is required. Registrants will receive information about how to access the webinar approximately two days in advance of the event.
