ComBase is a collaboration between the University of Tasmania-Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture and the US Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service. At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will understand how to navigate ComBase features, locate and interpret data records, apply predictive models to estimate microbial growth and inactivation, and donate data to ComBase.

Mark Tamplin Internationally recognized in foodborne pathogen ecology and virulence, my career has encompassed research at the US Food & Drug Administration, University of Florida, and the US Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service. I currently conduct research and teach for the University of Tasmania, Australia and am based in Atlanta, USA. In addition, I have advised the World Health Organization, the United Nations Food & Agricultural Organization, and the US Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.
