HACCP Training in Beijing, China - Shrimp Mandate Program

The Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training held in Beijing, China, under the Shrimp Mandate Program, was a JIFSAN-led initiative conducted in collaboration with the China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association (CIQA). This three-day course, held September 23–25, 2025, emphasized a preventive approach to food safety and equipped participants with the practical knowledge needed to develop and implement effective HACCP plans to minimize food safety hazards. A total of 34 participants from the production and industry sectors took part in the training, strengthening capacity for safer seafood practices within China’s shrimp industry.
