Chinese Food Safety Delegation Visits JIFSAN
September 2019
A Chinese food safety delegation visited JIFSAN on August 26, 2019 to discuss infant formula regulation and risk assessment. The visit was organized by China Food Information Center (CFIC). The delegation consisted of 18 officials and scientists from State Administration for Market Regulation, Chinese Academy of Inspection and Quarantine, National Health Commission, General Administration of Customs, and National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment as well as industry representatives from Mead-Johnson (China), Wyeth Nutrition (China), and Nestle (China). Colleagues from FDA, US Trade Representative, and International Food Information Council also attended the meeting.
