SPS/TBT Training at JIFSAN

JIFSAN hosted 14 USDA/FAS Cochran Fellows from several African Countries in the World Trade Organization (WTO) Commitments – Sanitary/Phytosanitary (SPS) and Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Agreements and Evidence-Based Risk Analysis Training. This two-week training provided industry leaders from South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, and Zimbabwe with Food Safety Regulation training. The program also included lectures on traceability requirements, CODEX, and understanding U.S. dynamics and market access.
